Intern Employer Day

Intern Employer Day is a career fair held specifically for Clemson Graphic Communications students. The event is held on campus twice a year, in October and March, and takes place over two days.

For students:
A dinner is held the first evening for graduating seniors and visiting employers. Students have the opportunity to reconnect with past employers, while also learning about upcoming job opportunities.

The following day, students meet with prospective employers to learn about internship and permanent opportunities within the industry. Students are asked to bring multiple copies of a prepared Intern Information Form to Intern Employer Day. Typically there are about 50 employers present.

For employers:
Visiting employers attend a reception with graduating seniors. Often, students will reconnect with previous internship employers, as well as industry colleagues.

The next morning employers attend a continental breakfast while listening to presentations on student internship experiences. Following breakfast, employers tour the graphic communication learning facilities and prepare company information tables for student meetings. The remainder of the day is spent meeting with internship candidates.

Event Registration

The next Intern Employer Day is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, October 13, 2020. Because of the impact of Covid-19 and social distancing requirements, this will be a virtual event using a platform through our Career Center. We are presently evaluating the platform and will contact past participants as well as other interested employers when the details are confirmed. If you have questions or would like to be included in our contact list for this event, please contact Hannah Gardner.
