Dr. Bose's current book project examines the political consequences of sustained ideological traffic between postfordist credos of productivity and the precepts of remote precision warfare in contemporary U.S. fiction, film, television, and videogames. She is also at work on two other projects. The first explores how the rise of the global Internet has shaped the form and content of the contemporary “postrace” novel. The second is a literary history of postwar U.S.-Asia relations and the invention of Silicon Valley.
