Music Curriculum

The music concentration combines studies in performance, music theory, music history, music technology, and arts administration into a program that encourages students to tailor their studies to their specific career aspirations.

With more than 20 performing groups from which to choose, students can participate in any number of musical ensembles around their specific talents.  Students also take part in various masterclasses presented by visiting performing artists.

Many of our students have the opportunity to work with the vast array of artists who perform at the Brooks Center for the Performing Arts.  The experiential nature of the curriculum and diverse opportunities for growth allow graduates to move into successful careers and prestigious graduate programs.
