Pascal Brixel’s main research and teaching interests are in practical philosophy, with a focus on the distinctive moral, social, and political problems we face under capitalism. Historical figures of special interest include Aristotle, Kant, and Marx. At the moment, Brixel is writing about freedom and coercion, work, the market, and economic democracy.
