Study Abroad in Ireland!
The Statistics and Irish Studies program provides a student the opportunity to satisfy several Clemson requirements while experiencing the culture and beauty of Ireland. We live in Dublin at University College Dublin (UCD) and enjoy many educational class excursions around Dublin on weekday afternoons. The program includes two day-long excursions out of Dublin and a long weekend in Galway with a tour of the Burren and Cliffs of Moher. Each student takes one three-credit technical course and one three-credit Irish Studies course. The technical courses include introductory and intermediate statistics courses which are taught by Clemson faculty and fulfill the STS General Education requirement. The Irish Studies course is a mix of modern Irish history, literature, and culture which is taught by UCD faculty. The Irish Studies course will satisfy the CCA core curriculum requirement.
