Parking & Transit Changes for Spring 2021

Effective Sunday, January 3, 2021, several adjustments will be made to the Clemson University Parking and transportation systems.

Parking Adjustments Effective Sunday, January 3, 2021.

The designated parking location for West Park-N-Ride permit holders will temporarily change from P-06 at the Snow Center to the orange spaces located along Ravenel Road on the north side of Littlejohn Coliseum. Ravenel Road is a one-way street accessible from Perimeter Road.

Ravenel Road Parking

Permit holders parking on Ravenel Road are encouraged to ride the Orange Route bus which comes by every 8 minutes and operates from 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Monday - Friday (see next route selection below).

There are no impacts to permit guidelines on Friday. Permit holders may park according to either employee or commuter regulations depending on your permit on Friday as before.

The designated parking lot location for East Park-N-Ride permit holders will temporarily change from P-05/P-07 lots at Highway 76 to the orange spaces located in aisles 10-11 in the C-1 Parking Lot (see highlighted section in the image below). C-1 parking lot is accessed from Perimeter Rd or Cherry Rd.

 East PnR Parking in C-1

Permit holders parking in C-1 parking lot are encouraged to ride the Blue Route bus which comes by every 7-12 minutes and operates from 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Monday - Friday.

The Blue Route stops at the bus stop between aisles 3 and 4 and in aisle 12 at the parking meter. The main bus stops on campus are located on McMillan Rd at Hendrix Student Center, Edwards Hall, Academic Success Center, and Redfern Health Center.

There are no impacts to permit guidelines for Fridays. Permit holders may park according to either employee or commuter regulations depending on your permit on Friday as before.

With daytime bus service from R-6 to Cherry Rd being suspended, additional resident parking spaces have been made available for East Resident and Douthit Resident students. These 116 new WHITE spaces on both sides of Morrison Rd (highlighted section between Dunavan Rd and Newman Rd) are to help ensure that all East and Douthit Residents permit holders have a valid parking space to use while parking on campus.

The Carpool program is suspended for the Spring 2021 semester. It will be revaluated for operation for Fall 2021.
