Save the date for the Spring 2021 kickoff of the CBSHS Inclusive Excellence Lecture Series. Travers Scott, professor in the Department of Communication, will deliver his talk, “From Radical Cheerleaders to the Equal Rights Amendment: Feminism and LGBTQ Movements in South Carolina,” during our first virtual session of the semester next Friday, Jan. 15 at noon.
The series will continue with Corliss Outley and Harrison Pinckney, both faculty members in the Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management. Their talk, “The Disruption of Play for Black Youth,” will be held Friday, Feb. 12 at noon.
