Research InterestsMy research is focused on the lithic technology of Hunter-Gatherers during the terminal Pleistocene and early Holocene. Specifically, I am interested in how early people taught and learned lithic technology across North America. My most recent publications focus on the fluted projectile technology of North America. I am also interested in debitage/flake analysis, specifically in Minimum Analytical Nodule Analysis. Recently, I have begun research into Human and Neanderthal interaction, seeking to understand gene flow between them via stone tool technology. In addition to my scholarship on stone tools, I also study how board games can be used in the classroom to teach archaeological and anthropological concepts.
