W.J. Kloss, Ed.D.

Jesse KlossJesse Kloss, Ed.D., a former colleague and scholar was dedicated to improving family and community well-being. Jesse is well-remembered for his soft-spoken kindness and intense curiosity. Jesse’s faith-based approach to community development is perhaps best exemplified by his dissertation, entitled “Examination of Christian revival and restoration to identify new spiritual and social constructs by which church-as-organism functions, forms and interfaces with contemporary society.” To carry out his legacy of good work, funds will support promising doctoral students in the International Family and Community Studies program within the Institute on Family and Neighborhood Life at Clemson University. Those wishing to contribute may donate below or contact Mark Small, J.D., Ph.D. at msmall@clemson.edu.
