Clemson Professional Golf Managment Academic Common Market

The PGA Golf Management Program at Clemson University is approved in select states for the Academic Common Market through the Southern Regional Education Board.

What is Academic Common Market?

"The Academic Common Market allows a student to enroll in an undergraduate or graduate program at a university in another state without having to pay out-of-state tuition if that program of study is not offered by the public institutions in the student’s home state." Southern Regional Education Board website

The Following states participate in the Southern Regional Education Board (SREB):

Arkansas
Delaware

Louisiana
Maryland*
Mississippi*
North Carolina*
Oklahoma*
South Carolina

Tennessee
Texas*
Virginia
West Virginia

* States with existing PGA Golf Management Universities

Applying

Students must complete an application to their home state for consideration for the Academic Common Market (ACM). Minimum requirements for participation in ACM include:

  • ACT composite score of 21, subscores of 19 in math and English
  • Core High School GPA of 2.5

Click on “your state’s ACM Coordinator” to see your representative’s contact information and contact the representative to find out if Clemson PGA Golf Management is offered. After that, complete the application form.  Completed application forms must be sent to your home state representative.  Application requirements vary by state.
