Profile

Dr. Pericot-Valverde is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at Clemson University. She completed her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Oviedo in Spain. She has set up research training experiences in the field of addiction at various universities, including the University of Houston, the Medical University of South Carolina, the University at Buffalo, the University of Vermont, as well as European universities, such as the University of Barcelona and the University of Oviedo.

Research Interests

Dr. Pericot-Valverde's main research interests in tobacco addiction, opioid addiction, and the intersection of both address two major public health problems in the US that negatively impact the health of millions of people and further widen health disparities across the US population.
