Go to gmail.com and log in with your Clemson username followed by '@g.clemson.edu'. Your password will be "cu##xxxx", where "xxxx" are the last four digits of your Social Security number. For example, if the last four digits of your Social Security number are 1234, you would use the following for your password: cu##1234 .
*If your password is not working, or you are an international student, please visit the Email Forwarding page and click the 'Reset my Google apps password'.*
Review Google's Terms of Service, fill in the 'Type the text' at the bottom, and click 'I accept. Continue to my account.'
You will then be taken to your inbox.
Now you need to change your temporary password to a permanent password that you can remember. Click the drop down arrow next to your user name in the upper right hand corner, then click 'Account'.
Click the 'Security' tab.
Click on 'Change password'.
Type your temporary password into the 'Current Password' field, and then make your new password.
*Note: Even though Google Apps and Clemson will use your same user name, the passwords are in no way linked. Changing your Google Apps password will not affect your Clemson password and vice versa.
Once you have entered a strong password, click on the "Change Password" button.
You can now use your Clemson Gmail!
