UTA: Undergraduate Teaching Assistant

What is a UTA?

A UTA or Undergraduate Teaching Assistant is an undergrad student that helps within General Engineering classes and holds tutoring hours outside of the lesson period. These assistants received an A or B in enrolled General Engineering courses; additionally, they had at least a 3.0 GPA. Since the UTAs are also undergrad students, they understand the problems and relate to the experiences of the students being tutored.
