About SEE Clemson:
SEE Clemson is a one-day introduction to life at Clemson, jointly sponsored by WISE & PEER for high school seniors, who have been accepted into Clemson. Students are invited to spend exploring the university with undergraduate hosts, attending faculty-led mock classes, learning more about prospective majors, student organizations, and more.
Parents/Guardians are allowed to participate in the program as well. If your parents would like to join you they will attend undergraduate Admission and Financial Aid Presentations, explore our wonderful university, and attend a student resources tour which will touch on different academic resources available on campus, as well as housing and dining facilities, safety resources, and more.
The SEE Clemson program is $25, which covers a program T-shirt and meals. Participants are responsible for their travel to and from Clemson University.
To be eligible, students must be seniors (we invite seniors in the fall and accepted Clemson students in the spring), must be enrolled in a college preparatory program, and must have a grade point average at or above 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. (Please note: Our mission of the PEER and WISE Programs is to increase the number of females and minority students entering into engineering and science fields.)
Eligible students are selected on a first-come, first-served basis, determined by the date and time the online applications arrive in our office.
If you or your parents have any questions, feel free to call PEER & WISE program assistant, VeeAnder Mealing, by phone at 864-656-7472, or by e-mail at email@example.com. ATTENTION: A $25 fee is charged per student. Payment will not be required until AFTER you are notified of your acceptance. This fee will be processed ONLINE. PLEASE DO NOT send cash, money orders, or checks to the office.
