ENGL 1030 Research + Write-In

ENGL 1030 Research + Write-In (Fall 2019):

Sunday, October 27

Cooper Library, 4th Floor, Brown Room (416) 2pm-6pm

Overview

Write-ins provide a large block of time during which to focus, relax, and get some writing done. Students in ENGL 1030 can use this time to work on their Project #4 research paper in a supportive environment. Attendees often appreciate the opportunity to write in a community setting and the energy and helpfulness of staff from the Clemson Writing Center and Clemson Libraries.

Who should attend?

Up to 35 ENGL 1030 students. Pre-registration is required.

What to expect:

Our goal is to offer a pleasant space conducive to clear thinking and effective writing. We offer an environment without distractions, one that will allow you (should you wish) to connect with other ENGL 1030 students who are working on the same project. Staff from the Writing Center and Libraries are also available for on-site consultations.

A Typical Research + Write-In Day:

2:00pm: Arrive to the Brown Room (416) in Cooper Library.

2:00-6:00pm: Write, attend workshops, meet with a writing consultant and/or librarian.
