Welcome to the Calhoun Honors College.

We challenge our students to excel by offering specialized courses with Clemson's best professors; by encouraging participation in a wide range of innovative learning experiences on campus, across America, and around the world; and by promoting intellectual engagement through formal and informal interactions with other Clemson students, staff and faculty. We encourage our students to create their own ideal education, by sponsoring programs such as study abroad and undergraduate research, and by providing individualized funding for internships, educational travel and professional development. Whether you're a prospective student or already enrolled, the Calhoun Honors College is here for you.

It's a marriage of home and work for this longtime Tiger. He heads the Calhoun Honors College, housed in the beautiful new Core Campus. He and his wife, Sue, also live there as part of the Faculty-In-Residence program, which places faculty and students in the same residential space.

Honors College Students Received 2019 Clemson University Spring Awards!

STUDENT AWARDS

Norris Medal

Rami M. Major, Genetics, received the Norris Medal. This award is presented to the best all-around graduating senior at Clemson University. The Norris Medal is considered the most prestigious award given to an undergraduate student. Students with a minimum 3.000 cumulative GPA may self-nominate or be nominated by a fellow Clemson student, faculty or staff member.

Algernon Sydeny Sullivan Student Award

Hannah Connelly, English, received the Algernon Sydeny Sullivan Student Award. This award is presented to two seniors for outstanding service to Clemson University and the extended Clemson community. Students with a minimum 2.500 cumulative GPA may self-nominate or be nominated by a fellow Clemson student, faculty or staff member.
