The Honors College plays a key role in recruiting the very best students to Clemson from across South Carolina and the United States. Students are attracted by the College's specialized courses and programs, by our commitment to undergraduate research, and by our talented and dedicated students, faculty and staff. All of our efforts, with your help, are devoted to educating students who are prepared to take the lead in addressing the many issues facing South Carolina, the nation, and the world. Whether they pursue careers in science, engineering, law, medicine, government, or any other field, our graduates have the tools to understand—and change—the world.
Honors students pay a fee each semester to help fund Honors College courses and programming. To make Honors affordable for everyone and to promote diversity within the College, we have launched the Honors Opportunity Fund. Donations to the Fund will allow us to waive the Honors fee for outstanding students with financial need.
Contributions to the Engagement Fund allow the Honors College to invite leaders in the fields of academia, government, business, and the non-profit sector for public lectures and small-group meetings with Honors students. Such interactions are key to inspiring every Honors student to reach his or her greatest potential.
For Honors students, service learning is a way of life. Our students help improve the lives of others in their local communities, South Carolina, the nation, and the world. Donations to this fund help us expand opportunities for students to use their talents and energy to help others through research and other service activities.
