Fike Recreation Center

Fike Recreation Center is Clemson's main recreation center on campus. It houses:

  • The McHugh Natatorium
  • 30' climbing wall
  • 1/10 mile indoor track
  • Eight racquetball courts
  • Six basketball courts
  • Two group fitness studios
  • Wellness Zone
  • Approximately 11,000 sq ft. of modern fitness and cardio equipment in the Swann Fitness Center.

Joseph F. Sullivan Center

The Joseph F. Sullivan Center is an interdisciplinary health center at Clemson University. Located near the Redfern Health Center and the Hendrix Student Center, the Sullivan Center is one of the oldest continuously operating nurse-managed health centers in the United States. Some services it provides include:

  • Acute Care Services
  • Health Management
  • CU Well Program
    • A comprehensive wellness program at the Sullivan Center, comprised of the CU4Health health risk appraisal and a variety of other resources for only $15. To learn more about the CU Well Program and to register for it click here

Deer Oaks Employee Assistance Program (EAP): Live Well Program

A Wellness Coaching program that is offered to you for free from Deer Oaks EAP. The program helps you assess your current lifestyle, and create plans for achieving the healthy lifestyle you want. Some programs that are offered are:

  • Live Fit- a program designed to help you maintain your fitness routine
  • Wellness Coaching-Live Well online lifestyle management programs
  • Unlimited Wellness Coaching and Wellness Resources
  • Health and Wellness Newsletter

State Employee Insurance Program

The Public Employee Benefit Authority (PEBA) is the state employee insurance program offered by Clemson University. On PEBA's website you will be able to find a comprehensive range of information that includes:

  • The latest news about your insurance benefits
  • Detailed information about plans
  • Easy ways to reduce the costs of healthcare

PEBA also has a unit called Prevention Partners, which is dedicated to improving and maintaining the health of state employees, retirees and their covered dependents. Prevention Partners offers a wide range of resources including:
  • Disease prevention programs
  • Preventive Workplace Screenings
  • Disease education workshops
  • Lifestyle change programs

Lactation Support Network

Clemson University promotes a family-friendly work and study environment for mothers and their infants. As a part of Clemson’s goal to provide employees, student workers and students with work/life balance, the University strives to offer clean, private space for new mothers to nurse and/or express breastmilk and flexible opportunities to do so during the work/school day.

The Clemson Lactation Network is a combination of:

  • Dedicated wellness/lactation rooms
  • Public spaces where one might be able to express milk
  • Reservable space for you to express milk (e.g., conference room)
  • Space volunteered by individuals
