Bowman Vineyards cultivates and harvests several varieties of muscadines on our Oakman Branch Road farm land. Wine is produced and bottled on our Augusta Highway site. The sandy soil and hot weather in this coastal region of South Carolina makes for the ideal environment to farm a wide variety of muscadines.

We are a multigenerational family farm located in the Lowcountry of South Carolina. We operate both a traditional row crop operation growing peanuts, cotton, corn, and other crops and a farm market where we grow and sell fruits, vegetables, and many other farm products. Rizer’s Farms have been raising hogs and growing vegetables since 1952, including corn, soybeans, peanuts, oats, rye, watermelons, sweet corn, okra, squash, and cucumbers.

In 2000, Rizer’s Pork & Produce was established to provide fresh meat, vegetables, and farm to table meals. They sell porkchops, sausage, bacon, fatback, peas, butterbeans, sweet corn, and watermelon. Rizer’s P&P serves a buffet lunch on Wednesday-Saturday from 11am-2pm and a steak night every second and fourth Saturday from January-August.
