How Dr. Devane's research is transforming health care
The field of interventional radiology, and more specifically interventional oncology, is rapidly evolving to improve patient care with modern technology and minimally invasive techniques. Dr. Devane believes the future of cancer care, especially with liver tumors, will involve a combination of system therapy (medical oncology) and liver directed therapy (interventional oncology). His primary areas of interest are oncology, medical device design, and liver disease, and his research seeks to improve outcomes in patients with cancer and liver disease.
