Who is Dr. Parti?After completing his undergraduate degree at Vanderbilt University, Parti attended Emory School of Medicine. He then completed his radiology residency at Barnes Hospital, Washington University at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology. Parti completed his diagnostic radiology residency, served as Chief resident and then completed a neuroradiology fellowship as well.
Since coming to Greenville in 2004, he has been active in radiology on both the state and national level, including serving as past President of the South Carolina Radiology Society, as well as numerous national ACR appointments (economics commission, future trends committee, ACR councilor). He was selected as a Fellow of American College of Radiology (less than ten percent of all radiologists).
He completed his executive MBA from Clemson in 2014 as well, with a focus on health care economics. He is an assistant professor at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville and has published several articles in the field of radiology most recently in the journal “Radiology.”

How Dr. Parti’s research is transforming health care
In his role as medical director of MRI, Parti has actively participated in joint discussions between Prisma Health and Clemson leadership investigating the feasibility of a 3 Tesla magnet to placed at Oconee Memorial Hospital to be utilized for Clemson research.
