Who is Dr. Nagatomi?
Jiro Nagatomi is a professor of bioengineering. His primary research interests include mechanobiology, biomechanics, regenerative medicine, and surgical materials. His lab, the Cell Mechanics and Mechanobiology Laboratory, is currently working in the areas of mechanotransduction of hydrostatic pressure related to urology and cardiovascular diseases, multi-functional hydrogel tissue adhesive, and functional tissue engineering of intervertebral discs.
