Graduate School Orientation

Welcome to Clemson University! The graduate school orientation program at Clemson University provides the information and resources to ensure a successful transition to your graduate studies. The program promotes discussion on campus community and graduate education among all graduate students (masters, doctoral and post-doc) alongside faculty and staff. Each new degree-seeking graduate student is encourage to attend orientation.

2018 Summer and Fall Semesters

Graduate school orientation for students accepted into the 2018 summer and fall semesters is scheduled for Monday, August 20 from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. More information about this program will be posted soon. All new students are strongly encouraged to attend. If your program is on a satellite campus or online, we plan to provide a virtual ticket option; web streaming may be offered for portions of the program.

There is an online registration program for the orientation session. There is no fee to attend. Information and the link to register will be provided by July 1.

International Orientation

The International Orientation program is separate from graduate school orientation, yet both are helpful for graduate students from outside of the United States. New Student To Do List

The graduate school has prepared a New Student To Do List of items to complete prior to coming to Clemson for orientation and items to complete as soon as you arrive on campus. Please visit Newly Accepted Students on the graduate school website to review the To Do List.
