Genetic Horizons - Rising 10th-12th
This one-week course investigates how genetic research is changing our lives. Students will use DNA fingerprinting to identify suspects at a mock crime scene, use PCR to detect genetically-modified foods, and use bioinformatics to analyze and compare DNA sequences.
This course is offered in Session One (May 31-June 6) and Session 3 (June 14-20).
