Dr. Greene’s primary research interests are environmental remediation and food

microbiology. In her current projects, she conducts research on animal co-product
microbiological, new product development and environmental issues. Additionally,
Dr. Greene’s environmental remediation work includes landfill reduction and animal
waste remediation. In the foods area, she works on microbial food safety and
reduction of foodborne pathogens.
