As part of Clemson’s commitment to the continuing professional development of faculty, staff and students, CRLT has partnered with SkillSoft Corporation and implemented SkillPort®, a Learning Management System with in-depth courseware and on-line Books called Books24x7®.

A diverse library of content can be accessed through SkillPort®. These courses cover a wide variety of subject matter to meet the various training needs of Clemson employees and students. These courses and associated components can be used as reference tools to help answer day-to-day, on the job questions or as part of personal development.
Don't forget SkillPort also prepares your for Certification Exams and helps you to maintain CEU's or PDU's for your professional certification.
SkillPort® is available for free to all faculty, staff and current enrolled students of Clemson University.
Books24x7® provides on-demand access to business, technical and engineering resources, and contains thousands of digitized "best-in class" books, book summaries, research reports and best practices. The Books24x7® On Demand Platform offers several features enabling users to search, browse, read, add bookmarks and notes, create folders and collaborate with other users of these libraries.
To begin using SkillPort® open the following URL in your web browser: http://www.clemson.edu/elearning. After you have logged into the Clemson Authentication Server using your CU UserID and Novell password, click the Login to SkillPort button. Once you are in SkillPort®, you can view a list of the course offerings by clicking the Course Catalog link on the left side of the page.
SkillPort® uses the Adobe Flash Player, which is currently unavailable on 64-bit operating systems (most frequently Windows 7). See the related Adobe Tech Note for more details.

Yes. CCIT currently offers instructor-led training for faculty, staff and students on how to navigate and use SkillPort®. Please view our training calendar to register for these available classes. Email ITHELP@clemson.edu for one on one training.
