2018 Southeastern Magnetic Resonance Conference

Clemson, SC - October 26-28, 2018

The Southeastern Magnetic Resonance Conference (SEMRC) highlights advances in research related to magnetic resonance, including Nuclear Magnetic Resonance, Electron Paramagnetic Resonance, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, and Hyperpolarization. Advances in both method development and applications will be discussed, with particular emphasis on research being done in the Southeastern United States and on research being done by students and young scientists. The program will run from Friday evening until 12:30 pm on Sunday.

To submit your abstract for a poster or talk, click here to download the abstract submission form. The deadline for abstract submission and to be considered for a student travel stipend is September 28, 2018.

The conference will be held in the Grand Ballroom and the BellSouth Auditorium of Clemson University's Clyde V. Madren Conference Center. The James F. Martin Inn is adjacent to the conference center and we have reserved a block of rooms there. Please mention that you are with the SEMRC when you make hotel reservations to receive the SEMRC rate.

We have also booked a block of rooms at The Abernathy Hotel in Clemson. Mention that you are with the SEMRC to receive the conference rate for a King suite with fold-out sofa.

Clemson is located in Upstate South Carolina. The nearest airport is Greenville-Spartanburg (GSP). Clemson is about two hours from Atlanta, and about 2.5 hours from Charlotte, NC.

We recommend Airport Shuttle of Clemson for transportation from GSP, Atlanta, or Charlotte airports if you do not wish to rent a car.

If you are driving, Clemson is located just off Interstate-85. Take exit 19B when coming from points North and Exit 14 when coming from points South.
