CU School of Computing and MUSC Collaboration Team

On April 2, 2010, Larry Hodges, director of Clemson's School of Computing, hosted a meeting of his faculty with invited guests from Medical University of South Carolina and Clemson Computing and Information Technology. The purpose of the meeting was to initiate a program of collaboration between Clemson School of Computing and MUSC faculty with cyberinfrastructure support from both institutions. This first meeting's agenda provided opportunities for attendees to begin understanding the strengths and interests of one another. After brief presentations, the group discussed the next steps: this website where presentations, ideas, activities, results, etc., can be shared and a meeting in mid-May at MUSC where face-to-face connections can be made among the faculty.
