iPhoto® is an application for organizing photos that comes with the iLife suite for Mac computers. With iPhoto® you can share you photos with Facebook, create slideshows, use “face” recognition to tag people in your photos, organize by location (if your camera has GPS information), and a lot more.
Clemson does not have a site license for the iLife® suite. However, most newer Mac computers come with the iLife® suite. If you have an older Mac that does not have iLife® or if you would like to upgrade your iLife® suite to the latest version, you can visit the Clemson Apple Store on campus at the Edgar A. Brown University Union or buy it at the Apple Store online for between $59 -$79.
Apple has several resources available on their website to help you learn how to use iPhoto®. There are additional resources available on the web as well. We have linked some resources that we believe will help you in learning iPhoto® below.
At this time we do not currently offer training classes on iPhoto®. Please view our training calendar to check for new and available classes.
