Large group of participants in STEM Day

WHAT: Join us for a virtual event via Zoom! Students will log on to a Zoom session where they will interact with Clemson engineering students to hear about the fields of STEM and the opportunities that a degree in STEM could give them.

WHEN: February 26th, 9 AM to 12 PM

STEM day is a program targeting middle school (6th, 7th, 8th grade) girls and boys. The goal of the day is to introduce the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), to underrepresented students. Activities include hands-on engineering and science demonstrations and interactions with current Clemson engineering students.

On the day of the event, participants will log in to a Zoom session where they will hear about different STEM careers and participate in hands-on activities from the comfort of their own homes. The materials for these activities will be mailed to the homes of each participant after registration is complete. Participants must provide their own device and access to the internet.

*If you plan to use a school-provided laptop, please contact Maegan Hinson to ensure the Zoom link is on the approved website list.
