Genetics and Biochemistry Seminar Series (February 16)


Dr. Ken Christensen received his B.S. in Chemistry from BYU in 1992. He then went on to earn his Ph.D. in Chemistry at the University of Michigan under Dr. Michael Morris. After graduate school, Dr. Christensen spent a year as a Lecturer at the University of Michigan before beginning his postdoctoral work under Dr. Joel Swanson in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Michigan Medical School. Dr. Christensen also did postdoctoral work at Harvard Medical School (Department of Genetics and Microbiology) under Dr. John Collier before joining the faculty at Clemson University. In 2015, Dr. Christensen moved to Brigham Young University where he is currently an associate professor and an Associate Department Chair in Chemistry and Biochemistry.
