The Consortium for Computing and Education is focused on the urgent need to provide young people in South Carolina with the training and education they will need to be prepared to become a vital part of the 21st-century economy. The consortium will facilitate the formation of collaborative teams to address funding opportunities likely to emerge as part of President Obama’s CS for All initiative, in addition to other computing and education opportunities. The consortium forms a network of researchers across Clemson's colleges and provides a central resource for the launch of collaborative projects across education and computer sciences.
