Faculty Overview

Dr. Wagner’s main teaching and research interests include earth history, geomorphology, and geoscience education. He has taught courses in earth history, surficial geology, and the natural history of South Carolina. He continues to teach a variety of on-site and distance-learning courses for preservice and inservice K-12 teachers throughout South Carolina. He is also still involved with several research projects to develop inquiry-based curriculum materials for middle school earth science classrooms and run training workshops in Carbon Sequestration principles and techniques for workers in the energy industry.
