The honor is given to ten individuals who also exemplify Clemson University’s core values of honesty, integrity, and respect.

Joseph Fletcher Anderson ’04

Fletcher is the owner of the Nationwide Insurance Agency in Central, SC. He spends his free time volunteering with the Boy Scouts of America and gives back to Clemson by serving on the Student Affairs Advisory Board, serving as an IPTAY representative, and serving as Vice President of the Fort Hill Clemson Club.

Robert Wesley Bagley ’02, ’04

Bert gives of his time to several Boards of Directors, including the College of Agriculture, Forestry, and Life Sciences Alumni Board, the Pendleton Farmer’s Society, and the South Carolina Farm Bureau.  He is currently the Customer Support Manager for John Deere Ag and Turf.

Upon graduation, Josh joined the Corps of Teach for America where he taught middle schoolers in under privileged areas. Since then, he has served as their recruitment director and is now expanding the Corps to Florence, SC by serving as the Executive Director.

Aaron is currently an architect with LS3P Architects in Greenville, SC. Using his professional degrees, he has devoted much time to local community service projects including the Clemson Experimental Forest, “AM12: Altered Perception Installation,” and “Your Town: Pendleton.”

Jeffrey Robert DiMaio ’01, ’04

Jeffrey Robert DiMaio ’01, ’04

Jeff used his expertise in his chosen field of Ceramic Engineering to mentor 29 students and teach courses at Clemson. His knowledge of the industry and business skills have helped make him co-owner of Tetramer Technologies, LLC in Pendleton, SC.

Katy Lauren Gregg ’05

Katy Lauren Gregg ’05

Katy is an Assistant Professor of Child and Family Development at Georgia Southern University. Her proficiency in the area of psychology has led her to speak at several national and international conferences. She gives of her time to the Clemson Alumni Council, College of Business and Behavioral Sciences Alumni Board, and to the local Savannah Clemson Club.

Richard Lartigue Garick ’03

Upon graduation, Tigue immediately got involved the Alumni Association’s Young Alumni Council, and recently served as president. He now serves as a member of the Alumni Association’s larger Board of Directors. He is currently an Outside Sales Associate for James M. Pleasants Co., Inc. in Birmingham, AL.

Angelo C. Mitsopoulos ’03 Angelo C. Mitsopoulos ’03

Angelo was involved with several student activities in his undergraduate time at Clemson, and he continued his involvement upon graduation.  Most recently, he has served at a member of the Student Affairs Campaign Committee as part of the Will to Lead Campaign.  He works with local charities in Charlotte, NC including United Way and Holy Angels. Angelo is the Director of Global Securities Operations for Bank of America.

Michael B. Shuler ’03

After graduating with a degree in Marketing, Mike immediately became involved with the Charleston Clemson Club and rejuvenated the local Young Alumni efforts. After gaining experience in the local business realm, he founded the King Street Companies which manage an independent insurance brokerage and several commercial real estate ventures.

 

 Captain Gilbert Samuel Wyche ’06

Captain Gilbert Samuel Wyche ’06

Gil serves in the United States Air Force.  Having received the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart, among other decorations, his military performance is phenomenal. He was invited to attend the FBI’s National Academy to learn new techniques for security operations.  Gil is currently a Security Forces Officer in the United States Air Force.
