Install Clemson Custom Holidays andndashin Outlook 2007. Step 1: Close your Outlook completely. Copy the following to Windowandrsquos StartRunprogramfilesMicrosoft OfficeOffice121033 Rename the existing Outlook.hol file to Outlook.hol.old. Copy the Custom Outlook.hol to this folder Note: Canandrsquot see file extensions See Appendix below. Step 2: Start Outlook On the Tools menu, click Options. Step 3: On the Preferences tab, under Calendar, click Calendar Options. Step 4: In the Calendar Options dialog box, under Calendar options, click Add Holidays. Step 5: Select andldquoClemson University Holidaysandrdquo. NoteItand39s possible that a set of holidays or events has already been selected in the Add Holidays to Calendar dialog box. Specifically andldquoUnited Statesandrdquo If you try to add the same country/region again, yousee the message, Holidays for United States are already installed. Do you want to install them again Click No. If you click Yes, the holidays and events are installed a second time, and you will see duplicate holiday and event entries in your calendar. Click OK and youandrsquore done Step 6: It will take a moment for the items to install. Appendix Folder Options Vista Enable the Display of File Extensions in Vista: Open a folder or open explorer. Click the Layout button to the left of the Views button as shown in the picture below. Click Folder Options. Click the View tab. Uncheck Hide extensions for known file types. Click OK Folder Options XP Enable the Display of File Extensions in XP: Open a folder or open explorer. Click the Tools button. Click Folder Options. Click the View tab. Uncheck Hide extensions for known file types. Click OK
