Andrej Ivanco is a Research Assistant Professor at Clemson University International Center for Automotive Research (CU-ICAR). His research focuses mainly on (i) hybrid vehicle propulsion system-level design, control and optimization, (ii) analysis of the driving styles and patterns, through big data analytics and (iii) hardware in the loop testing and powertrain integration. Prior to joining the Clemson University Department of Automotive Engineering in 2012, he worked for two years as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Michigan AutoLab. He holds a double Ph.D. degree in Energetics from the University of Orleans, France, as well as in Technical Cybernetics from the Czech Technical University in Prague, both from 2009. His list of publications includes over thirty peer-reviewed, international journal and conference papers, mainly in the area of hybrid vehicle design and control.
