To apply for the SPECTRA Scholarship Program you must:
Submit an essay describing where you envision yourself in 5 years after completing your degree in Engineering or Computing and how you envision yourself 20 years after completing your degree;
Submit a 1-page resume;
Provide 1 instructor or faculty member reference;
Be in financial need determined by FASFA;
Be a citizen of the United States;
Meet other requirements necessary by the school to which you wish to receive the scholarship.
Additional requirements:
Be able to enroll or already enrolled at SCC or TTC;
Submit high school or unofficial college transcript;
Transfer 30 or more credit hours (taken post-High School graduation);
Complete MATH 1080 or MATH 2070 (for CIS or CPCS majors);
Strongest applicants will have completed ENGR 1410 (for ENGR majors) or programming CPT course (for CIS or CPSC majors) with a C or better. If you have not completed ENGR 1410 or a programming CPT course, please contact us at spectra@clemson.edu to learn about an alternative entrance to SPECTRA.
