2022 SWU Imaging Workshop

In the Fall of 2022, Ms. Rhonda Powell developed a lab exercise for students in Dr. Michele Eller’s Cell Biology course at Southern Wesleyan University. Students used fluorescent dyes to stain organelles and brought their samples to the Clemson Light Imaging Facility for an imaging demonstration. Dr. Terri Bruce and Mr. Justin Scott taught the students about image analysis, Ms. Ruxi Xia showed the students a widefield microscope, and Ms. Nimasha Jayasinghe and Ms. Rhonda Powell used their prepared slides to demonstrate the use of different confocal microscopes.
