SACSCOC 2023 Reaffirmation

As the main regional accrediting body for degree-granting institutions in all southern states, SACSCOC first granted accreditation to Clemson University in 1927. In order to maintain its accredited status, Clemson has continuously complied with the SACSCOC Principles of Accreditation and participated in a reaffirmation approximately once every 10 years. The most recent reaffirmation occurred in 2013. In the spring of 2023, Clemson will welcome a SACSCOC review team to campus as a vital part of the next reaffirmation. In the meantime, the institution will submit a Compliance Certification to SACSCOC in September of 2022 that details evidence of compliance with each principle. All members of the Tiger community play a role in the reaffirmation process, and the Office of Institutional Effectiveness looks forward to working with everyone during this collaborative effort!
