The 6^th Workshop on Specialty Optical Fiber and Their Applications (WSOF 2019) is a biennial technical workshop and exhibit focused on advances and innovations in specialty optical fibers and their applications. Following in the footsteps of the five previous workshops, WSOF 2019 brings together students and researchers from academia and industry, with an interest in fiber optics in a small and familiar setting that affords one-on-one opportunities for technical discussions and fellowship. The three-day event, November 6-8, will offer plenary, tutorial, and invited talks, and contributed and poster papers. We invite industrial partners to exhibit their latest technology and product offerings.
