Directions

From I-26 East:

Take Exit 212C (526 East towards Mount Pleasant). Travel on 526 East to the Exit 20 (Virginia Avenue exit). Take a right at the end of the ramp onto Virginia Avenue. Continue down Virginia Avenue to The Navy Base at Noisette (former Charleston Naval Base (entrance is on the left-hand side of the road). At the fork in the road, bear right. Continue down this road to a four way stop intersection. Take a left onto Turnbull Avenue. Take the sharp right onto North Hobson and continue going straight through the stop light. As you continue down North Hobson Avenue you will take a left onto Supply St (there are signs for tours of the Hunley). The Conservation Center (1250 Supply Street) will be at the end of the road on the left hand side (in the same building as the H.L. Hunley and the name of the building is the Warren Lasch Conservation Center).


From Mount Pleasant Area:

Take Highway 17 South over the Ravanel Bridge to I-26 West (towards Columbia). When on I-26 West continue to Exit 216B Cosgrove Avenue. Continue on Cosgrove Avenue (through two sets of lights - the second set you will be crossing over Rivers Avenue). At the second set of lights, take left onto Spruill Avenue. At the lights, take a right onto McMillan Avenue (signs for The Navy Base at Noisette). At the end of McMillan take a right at the lights onto North Hobson Avenue. As you continue down North Hobson Avenue you will take a left onto Supply St (there are signs for tours of the Hunley). The Conservation Center (1250 Supply Street) will be at the end of the road on the left hand side (in the same building as the H.L. Hunley and the name of the building is the Warren Lasch Conservation Center).


From Savannah/Beaufort Area:

Take Highway 17 North towards Charleston. As you enter the Charleston area there are signs for 526. Enter onto 526 East and take it to Exit 20 (Virginia Avenue exit).
