Level Four
This is a broad group of academic and nonacademic subbrands for University-approved institutes, centers, programs, scholarship programs, organizations, registered student organizations, groups, clubs, fundraising campaigns, projects, or annual or ongoing events.
Academic and Nonacademic Subbrands
Level Four Mark Design
All marks at this level must be approved by the Division of Marketing and Communications.
Registered student organizations must get advance approval from Marketing and Communications on their logos:
1. Review the Marketing and Communications Student Org Ticket Process document found on the Tiger Quest Resources page
2. Submit a request for logo design and use via the MarCom Student Organization Use of Marks Request Form




Academic and Nonacademic Subbrand Guidelines
- All Level 4 mark designs must:
- Include the TIGER PAW (Level 1) or the words CLEMSON or CLEMSON UNIVERSITY in a brand font. A registration “®” must be used in superscript after the “N” in CLEMSON®.
- Only delegated student organizations and independent councils are able to use CLEMSON® UNIVERSITY in text within their mark; all others are able to use CLEMSON® in text and/or the official Tiger Paw with approval of art
- Use only brand fonts, excluding script fonts or legacy fonts.
- Use only brand colors (Clemson Orange must be used) and follow the guidelines for brand palette use.
- Include the TIGER PAW (Level 1) or the words CLEMSON or CLEMSON UNIVERSITY in a brand font. A registration “®” must be used in superscript after the “N” in CLEMSON®.
- Any acronym must have the descriptive name designed as a lockup of the acronym in the logo design. In the case of T-shirt design use, a separation of the lockup of the acronym and the descriptive text would be allowed, but both should appear on the shirt.

A student organization’s formally registered name must be used on logos and apparel (including the word “club” if it is a club sport) and adhere to the Student Organization Policy.
