Faculty Overview

Felicio’s teaching interests include environmental and water resources engineering, water and wastewater treatment, fluid mechanics, hydraulics, environmental sustainability, and sludge and biosolids management. He is committed to connecting engineering fundamentals with practical applications through student-centered learning and industry-engaged projects.

Felicio's research focuses on sustainable and resilient water and wastewater infrastructure, with emphasis on sludge treatment, biosolids management, resource recovery, and process optimization. His work also explores nature-based sanitation systems, circular-economy strategies, and innovative technologies that enhance water quality, operational efficiency, and the long-term sustainability of environmental infrastructure.
