International Services is currently not offering in-person advising or walk-in services. Virtual Advising through Zoom provides the opportunity to discuss questions about your visa status directly with an international services expert. Our advisers are available at the times advertised above to provide virtual advising through Zoom. You will join the waiting room and then be admitted by an IS advisor to answer your question(s) in a private virtual setting. If you have a more complicated question that will take longer than 15 minutes, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule a separate call with an advisor. All students with questions related to CPT and/or OPT are requested to join the specific sessions outlined below.
Virtual OPT Q&A Schedule:
International Services offers weekly OPT Q&A sessions, which allows students to join a Zoom session at the scheduled block of time and ask OPT-related questions to one of our advisors. There is no need to make an appointment, but students are required to review the Online OPT Tutorial (linked in the iStart Portal) and prepare your questions ahead of time. The schedule for the upcoming OPT Q&A sessions is posted on our website here.
Virtual CPT Q&A Schedule:
International Services offers weekly CPT Q&A sessions, which allows students to join a Zoom session at the scheduled block of time and ask CPT-related questions to one of our advisors. There is no need to make an appointment, but students are required to review the CPT guidance and prepare questions ahead of time. The schedule for the upcoming CPT Q&A sessions is posted on our website here.

If you are off-campus and have a police, fire, or medical emergency, phone 911 for immediate assistance.
For travel emergencies, after normal business hours, please contact Clemson University's Police Department (CUPD) at (864) 656-2222. A member of the IS team will be contacted to assist with emergency situations.
