“Try everything and embrace the unpredictable future. There’s so much value in being in the present moment and embracing the interactions that you have with your professors and your peers. When you’re intentional with those things, you’re going to flourish in whatever you’re doing.”

Meet Charles

  • Charles served as the coordinator for the 30th annual Habitat for Humanity Homecoming Build on Bowman Field.
  • As an intern for construction firm Brasfield & Gorrie, Charles helped chronologically order the plaques of past Clemson Football team captains that are placed on the Tiger Walk in front of Memorial Stadium.
  • After graduation, Brasfield & Gorrie hired Charles as an assistant project manager.

“It was surreal to contribute to something that’s such a big part of Clemson tradition, and it gave me a firsthand look at how classroom lessons come to life in the field.”

“One, be a sponge. Two, get involved early. Three, your reputation starts now. Four, find mentors and be coachable. Five, remember what we really build.”
