A small group of people sit around a conference table in a classroom meeting room. In the forefront, a woman wearing a navy sweater and glasses gestures while speaking. Next to her, a female student wearing a brown headscarf and multicolored patchwork cardigan listens, while a male student wearing a plaid shirt looks on from behind.

FIND YOUR WHY

Sara Alkelani, political science and sociology ’26, has embraced leadership, service and curiosity during her time at Clemson. She’s done volunteer work with Alpha Phi Omega, helped plan the annual Tigerama pep rally, and taken academic trips to South Africa, Germany and France. Through internships in Washington, D.C., she’s engaged in public policy research and analysis, gaining valuable experience for a future career in law and advocacy.

“Even though I’ll be heartbroken to leave such a special place, Clemson has given me the skills to put myself out there no matter where I go next.”
