P20-9532 Sandhill Research and Education Center
The site will be redeveloped to meet the needs of emerging programs in urban horticulture, environmental issues, and community and economic development. A conference center including meeting rooms equipped for distance education, exhibit/display areas and office space will be constructed. The project goal is to achieve a LEED Platinum Certification.
P20-9538 Baruch Institute
The project includes a state of the art office/classroom building for natural resources research and renovation of the existing facility to be constructed at Hobcaw Barony. The existing laboratories will be equipped to conduct analytical work on water, soil, and plant tissue. Offices, classrooms and laboratories will be linked to a central computer intranet to allow electronic communication and data sharing. The project goal is to achieve LEED Silver Certification.

P20-9541 Edisto Research - Peanut Laboratory Construction
This project will provide a permanent facility to conduct research on the state's peanut crop at the Edisto Research and Education Center in Blackville, SC. The proposed laboratory will be approx. 2,000 sf, with ample work floor area for modern equipment such as shellers, dryers, and freezers; a teaching lab; and a storage area. The facility will be located adjacent to the other buildings at the Center with access to all required utilities.
P20-9542 Baruch Institute - Graduate Student Temp Quarters
This project will provide temporary housing for graduate students working with the faculty at the Baruch Institute of Coastal Ecology and Forest Science in Georgetown. The 2,000 suare foot facility will house up to 8 students at any one time with separate sleeping and bathroom facilities on each side of common areas to allow for coed use. The facility will be located within a few hundred feet of the main Institute office and laboratory facility which will allow walking access to the work areas as well as connectivity to the office for internet service. Funding of the facility will be through private donations and Clemson PSA internal reallocation of funds.
P20-9543 John B. Pitner Center Laboratory Renovations
The project involves the renovation of a portion of the Pitner Center at the Pee Dee Research and Education (REC) Center in Florence, SC. The renovation of the labs on the first and second floor are the focus of the work. The renovations will include 7,000 square feet of labs and associated HVAC, lab exhaust, which will bring the Pitner Center up to current code and will make them useful for essential research.
The Advanced Plant Technology program that will benefit from this renovation will provide critical research needed for a successful agriculture-based biotechnology industry in South Carolina. Its mission is to improve yield and quality of traditional crops, produce protein-based products and improve crops for bio-fuel feedstock.

The intent of the project is to improve indoor air quality and replace original and poorly operating building HVAC equipment. Existing HVAC equipment and controls will be replaced and upgraded and fresh air will be introduced into the building. Work is expected to be extensive and to be implemented in phases as funds permit.

This project will convert the high bay area in Earle Hall into new offices, labs, and work spaces that will meet current and future needs. With this conversion, approximately 11,840 square feet will be renovated. Work will include HVAC upgrades, fire protection improvements, structural improvements, the addition of laboratory ventilation hoods, the addition of a new interior stairwell, and other associated work to provide functioning offices and labs in the new space.

The CU-ICAR Technology Neighborhood One Plaza serves as the main gathering space and public entrance for that portion of the CU-ICAR campus. It consists of approximately two acres centered to the Campbell Graduate Engineering Center, Information Technology Research Center, CU-ICAR parking Structure, and Collaboration Laboratories 1, 2 & 3 (private development). The Plaza blemds both vehicular and pedestrian traffic. The construction includes services and utilities infrastructure necessary to support the surrounding development.

The intent of this project is to improve the existing chilled water infrastructure and add additional cooling capacity to support the growth of the University. This project will be accomplished in several phases. Phase I will be hydraulic improvements to the existing underground chilled water loop and replacement of the transfer media in the East Campus cooling tower. Phase II will be improvements to the Raw Water Intake Structure and the addition of a cooling tower at the Central Energy Facility, while Phase III will be the construction of a new chilled water plant.

H12-9885 Doug Kingsmore Stadium Addition
Two new spectator stands will be constructed to provide approximately 1,000 additional seats in the left outfield of the Doug Kingsmore Stadium. concession space and restrooms for both men and women will be located under the new stands. Site work will also be included in the project to provide for adequate pedestrian and service access in the area.
H12-9886 Lee Hall Complex Expansion/RenovationThe original Lee Hall structure was built in 1958 with additions in the mid-1970's and 1990's. The structure houses approximately 950 students and over 100 faculty and staff. The current facilities can no longer accommodate all of the programs, staff, faculty or any needed growth in population. This project will increase the usable space with an additional building in the complex and minor renovations to the existing building.
H12-9887 Manning Hall Renovations
The project is to demolish existing 2-pipe HVAC system and replace it with a 4-pipe system that will allow for much better and appropriate temerature control. While the facility is undergoing this significant renovation, additional work is to be completed that will create community space on each of the upper eight floors and make necessary upgrades to the lower two floors. In addition, electrical and IT upgrades are to be accomplished.
