For those who love shooting sports and the great outdoors, Camp Wildlife is held at Camp Bob Cooper in Summerton, situated on a 110-acre peninsula on beautiful Lake Marion. Facilities include air-conditioned dorm rooms, a full-service dining facility, waterfront area with multiple docks and a water slide, gymnasium, nature trails and a climbing tower.

Why Choose YLI?

Since 1934, parents from SC, NC, GA and beyond have entrusted their most precious possessions—more than 333,000 kids overall—to YLI summer camps, as well as other youth development programs. We offer great camps at a great value, a high level of staff training and expertise, and a true desire to help young people develop the friendships, responsibility, self-confidence and creativity they need to succeed in all areas of life.

Can I send mail to my child while they are at camp?

Yes. To ensure that your child get his or her mail, we suggest mailing letters on the Friday or Saturday before camp starts. You may also send it on that Monday or Tuesday (the week of camp), but it has to get to the campsite by Thursday, because mail is delivered to the campsite once each day, before noon.

When sending your child mail, please send it to the campsite, in care of your child’s name.
