Please note: As Hiring Phase II is developed, many of the forms currently being used will no longer be necessary. The Office of Human Resources and the Office of Access and Equity will update departments as these changes are made.

The Office of Access and Equity monitors the hiring process to ensure compliance with affirmative action and equal employment opportunity. The hiring process at Clemson provides separate procedures for recruiting classified and unclassified personnel. Search flowcharts for each process have been developed to provide departments with a quick reference to guide them through this process. The search flowcharts in PDF format are designed to graphically depict the Classified Recruitment Process and Unclassified Recruitment Process. Access and Equity forms can be downloaded from the flowcharts. You will need the latest (free) version of Adobe Acrobat Reader in order to view the flowcharts.

These procedures are designed to:

  • Ensure consistency in the hiring process work flow
  • Reduce confusion concerning the use of forms to use in which circumstances
  • Increase accessibility and ease of form use by departments
  • Ensure the accuracy of applicant data for compliance with state and federal affirmative action/equal employment opportunity (AA/EEO) regulations.
