 Educational Background


SFC Romo originally from Modesto, California, enlisted as an active duty 12B Combat Engineer Soldier in Turlock California on 27 August 2001 and attended OSUT training at Fort Leonardwood, MO. Upon graduation of AIT he was assigned as a Sapper in C Co, 44 EN BN, Camp Howze Korea. Prior to his assignment as the Training NCO at Clemson University, SFC Romo has served in the following duty assignment: Team Leader in C co ( Air Assault ), 44th EN BN, 2nd ID, Camp Howze Korea, Squad Leader in 58th CEC, RSS, 11th ACR, Fort Irwin CA, Operations and Platoon Sergeant in A co, 3BSTB, 3BCT, 25th ID, Schofield Barracks HI. SFC Romo\'s deployments include OIF 03-04 Baghdad Iraq; OIF 07-09 Tikrit, Iraq; OEF 11-12 Kunar Province, Afghanistan. SFC Romo has attended , Short Range Marksmanship Course, Air Assault Course, Casualty Notification Assistant/Officer course, Professional Leader Development Course, Advanced Leaders Course, and Senior Leaders Course.
